I define a man
A man inspired
And thus beautiful
In the slaughter house of words
Definitions crack
They crack wide open
And fill up with airy air

I define a child
An old child
Born with a wise beard
A wise beard inside his guts
In this evolution of language
Words are out of breadth
They can’t seem to keep up
No wonder when you are little
They are so many
And when you grow up
You just can’t find enough

Make me understand
What is agony?
And when you manage to answer the what
I shall ask you the why...
What does all this mean anyway?
Honour and truth and compassion
They might just still be easy
